We fed 100 adults and children...for many of these people this
will have been the only meal that they got that day.
Many of the children only get tortillas for their meal, sometimes
one a day.
Canada vs. Guatemala
The children are following along with their colouring
books as the story is read.
One last scoop!
Serving Gleaners soup...
We brought our bowls so where is the soup?
...playing with the kids
...the bridge is out so we trekked through the river
and onto the leftovers of the bridge
The trek up to Neuva Providencia....
This little girl is one of the sponsored kids...
Jorge and his sponsored little gal....
God works in mysterious ways....
via Maui, BC and Guatemala we got in contact with
Jorge, he and his family manage a feeding program for 175 six times a week
and have 680 children in the education program.

Hi, my name is Ellyn. I'm curious to hear about your trip to Nueva Providencia. I'm part of an engineering group who was there in May, and is planning a trip in March. I'd love to get in contact with you to see how that community is doing, and learn about any new changes/updates!! My email address is ellyn.mcnamara@gmail.com, thanks!
